Corporate Legal Services

The Corporate Legal Services Division provides legal support for the National Land Agency. This Division handles all legal matters which involves the Agency and gives general legal advice to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in respect of:

• Acquisition/Divestment of Crown Lands;
• Data Licensing;
• Procurement Contracts;
• Legal Requirements in respect of Statutes affecting the Agency/COL;
• Recommendations in respect of Legislative Amendments;
• Manage Acquisitions under the Land Acquisition Act – NROCC (Highway 2000); NWA (North Coast Highway); Inner City Housing, Ministry of Housing and ad hoc Acquisitions;
• Management of Land Settlement Schemes;
• Probate Unit.
