Corporate Services


The Corporate Services Division manages the National Land Agency’s assets and facilities. The Division also manages the Agency’s fleet and has overall management of the Agency’s tender processes, and Government houses and accommodations. 

 

The Corporate Services Division is responsible for the financial management of the Agency as well as the Agency’s strategic planning process.

 

The Division is divided into four (4) Units:

  1. Operations - Fleet management, asset management, inventory/stores management, central registries, occupational health and safety, disaster management and mitigation, facility/plant and equipment repairs. The Unit also maintains Government residential properties owned by the Commissioner of Lands.

 

  1.  Finance and Accounts - Budget preparation and monitoring, preparation and submission of financial statements and reports, collections and disbursements/payables, salaries, investment management, monitoring receivables and management of property accounts.

 

  1. Procurement - Contract Administration for all goods, services and works procured by the Agency.

 

  1. Corporate Planning - Responsible for strategic planning and alignment of budgetary allocation to operational tasks, performance monitoring and reporting: both internally and externally. The Unit also conducts performance reviews and risk identification and assessment. Corporate planning also compiles Agency reports, e.g. quarterly reports, Corporate Plan, Operational Plan and preliminary reports for Cabinet Office.

 

The Regulatory Framework which governs the Corporate Services Division includes:

  1. Financial Administration and Audit (FAA) Act;
  2. Executive Agencies Act;
  3. Financial Instructions to Executive Agencies;
  4. Circulars and Guidelines from the Ministry of Finance & Planning;
  5. NLA’s policies, guidelines and procedures.
