TENDER NOTICE

Renovation Works (Re-tender)

The National Land Agency invites sealed bids from eligible CONTRACTORS for the proposed Renovation Works at Block 11 (4th Floor) located at 14-20 Port Royal Street, Kingston CSO.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS

The works to be executed includes but not limited to flooring, tiling, drainage and plumbing services, masonry, fabrication and installation of bathroom fixtures and painting and renovation of bathrooms.

ELIGIBILITY:

It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) formally National Contracts Commission (NCC) in the category of “Building Construction” or “Interior Construction Works” Grades 1-2.

All bidders must be Tax Compliant at the bid opening. Bidding will be in accordance with tender procedures and guidelines specified in the Public Procurement Regulations 2018.

AVAILABILITY OF BID DOCUMENTS:

Eligible bidders can obtain Tender Documents as of Monday, December 30, 2019 to Monday, January 6, 2020 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Mondays – Fridays at the office of: National Land Agency, Procurement Unit - 8 Ardenne Road, Kingston 10.  

SUBMISSION OF TENDERS:

The Tender/s, along with the required documents, i.e. PPC certificate of registration, a valid TCC/TCL and Bid Security are to be placed in a sealed envelope and placed in the designated tender box provided marked with the name of the respective project which is located in the customer service area of the National Land Agency, 8 Ardenne Road, Kingston 10, on or before 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020.

Late Bids will be rejected.

 

OPENING OF TENDERS:

Tenders will be opened publicly on Friday, January 24, 2020 in the main conference room at National Land Agency, 8 Ardenne Road, Kingston 10 at 2:15 p.m.

After evaluation of these documents by the evaluating committee, and subsequent referral to the appropriate authorities for approval, the successful contractor will be notified accordingly.

The National Land Agency is not obliged to accept the lowest or any bid and also reserves the right to terminate the bid process at any point before the award of a contract without incurring liability to any of the bidders. (TENDERERS SHOULD NOTE THAT THE CONTRACT IS FIXED AND NOT SUBJECT TO PRICE ADJUSTMENTS).

Bidders are advised that failure to directly obtain the Tender/Bid Documents from the Procuring Entity will result in ineligibility/non-responsiveness of that bid from participating in the procurement process.
